Case Study: Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has evolved over the past 60 years from a dedicated veterans' hospital to a broader patient care, education and research facility. Today, 10,000 staff members, physicians and volunteers see one million patients every year. To combine security with convenience, the nurses and physicians use radio-frequency identification (RFID) cards and single sign-on authorization software when accessing sensitive data and applications.
