Office furniture maker honoured for minimizing waste |

The Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) has presented a 2009 Pollution Prevention Award to Teknion, a Toronto-based office furniture designer and manufacturer. Now in their 13th year, the awards recognize organizations for leadership and accomplishment in preventing pollution. Teknion, honoured in the large business category, has pursued a multifaceted environmental strategy, ranging from straightforward recycling to using design software to maximize the use of a given quantity of material. |
